Powerzinc Electric Inc. joined “The 4th International Clean Vehicle Technology Conference and Exhibition”

Beijing, China on November 27, 2005,the subject of vehicle, energy and environment of ” The 4th International Clean Vehicle Technology Conference and Exhibition” was held by Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Communications, State Environment Protection Administration, State Environment Protection Administration, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China, National Tourism Administration of China, The People's Government of Beijing Municipality, and Coordination Office of China National Clean Automobile Movement on November 23-26 in Agriculture Exhibition Hall in Beijing. In fully four days of conferences period, the pure zinc air fuel cell (ZAFC) low deck electric city transit bus demonstrated by Powerzinc was the only electric city transit bus that was kept on throughout the conference. Participants rode on the bus to the Great Hall of the People attending this seminar, therefore it got all the attention from the representative in the seminar.

In the noon of November 24, this electric city transit bus with fully passengers left from Beijing Agricultural Exhibition Hall and passed Tiananmen, Nan chi zi, and North Sea Park. The representatives enjoyed the sightseeing along the tour and experienced the strong power and high energy of the zinc air fuel cell.

In the evening of November 25, the CEO of Powerzinc, the chief engineer and others was honored to be invited to meet with the national leaders to discuss about the event. During the disucssion, the vice president of State Council Mr. Ceng Pei Yan with a minister of Ministry of Science and Technology, Mr. Xu Guan Hua inspected the electric city transit bus powered by Powerzinc outside the Beijing Agricultural Exhibition Hall, and asked the information about the ZAFC city transit bus’s manufacture location and the technology of ZAFC. They were impressed by the great performance of the bus. The former member of State Council Mr. Zou Jia Hua and National People’s Congress vice Committee Chief Mr. Jiang Zhen Hua both impressed and encouraged the achievement of ZAFC city transit bus powered by Powerzinc. 　　

In the afternoon of November 26, by the arrangement of members of Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, the representatives of Powerzinc took the ZAFC electric city transit bus once more from Beijing Agricultural Exhibition Hall, passed east circles three links, south three links and directly to west three links of Beijing public transportation limited company. They introduced the performance of ZAFC electric city transit bus and technology of ZAFC to the president and other executive, and briefly discussed the possible collaboration in the future.

At this high level seminar, the main counselor and chief designer, Mr. Deqian Yang also gave a presentation about “Creating the zinc economy – to establish zinc air fuel cell’s recharging infrastructure,” to appeal national society all join into this huge project for developing the cycling economy and promoting the “Zinc Economy” supporting system. Because the utilization of “Zinc Economy” alternative energy is not only to develop the ZAFC electric city transit bus, it’s also a complicated issue, so it needs the cooperation from the government, the electric power company, the zinc metal company, the automobile manufacture company and so on to solve the issue. This seminar also emphasized the importance of infrastructure construction, and it is the essential condition for developing the alternative energy on ZAFC technology of electric vehicles.
