The San Diego County Supervisor, Director of California Air Resources Board (ARB), and the Former President of World Trade Center in San Diego visited Powerzinc in Shanghai

Shanghai, China – On September 20th, 2005, the San Diego County Supervisor, Director of California Air Resources Board (ARB), and former President of World Trade Center in San Diego, Richard Ledford, visited Powerzinc (Shanghai) Electric Inc. The purpose of the visit was to understand and evaluate the technologies and products and the process of commercialization in order to look for the possibility of collaboration between Powerzinc and the government of California.

After the presentation from Powerzinc, Mr. Roberts and Mr. Ledford toured on Powerzinc’s zinc air fuel cell electric city transit bus, and they also visited the manufacturing factory of zinc air fuel cell and R & D center. During the visit, the guests admired the achievement of Powerzinc on technology and product commercialization, so they decided to promote the accomplishment of Powerzinc based on the legal procedures of California, especially on testing the electric city transit bus. Thereby, it would increase the possibility of collaboration between ARB and Powerzinc.

In addition, ARB provides guidance on the cost-effectiveness of transportation and motor vehicle emission reducing projects.
