(April 12,
Shanghai )For the supporting of the demo project of the Powerzinc’s zinc air fuel cell powered electric city transit
buses
will be operated in Pudong New district, in Shanghai city’s
VIP hall and the Pudong New District Government’s VIP hall,
Mr. Zhu Xiaoming,
the Deputy Director of the People’s Congress Council of

that it was exciting to meet the group on the new energy
technology. Shanghai city government take energy
diversification very seriously in building a harmonic
society and strongly support development of alternative
energies. Using clean energy sources powered electric
vehicle to be depend on the new energy technology, will not
only support city avoid the oil crisis but also reduce e
nvironmental
pollution. Zinc air fuel cells generate electricity through
an oxidation process on its zinc fuel, which can be recycled
and regenerated. It is an easy understanding concept.
Powerzinc has developed the product with high performance
and low cost; and can utilize excess off-peak electricity to
generate or regenerate zinc fuel in the industrial scale to
replace oil. This is a great choice for environmental
friendly power for transportation such as city transit buses
and ferries. It can be a landmark project in that regard and
is beneficial
to the country and the people. The city government welcomes
this type of the projects. He also instructed the Deputy
Minister of the Pudong Government’s Economy and Trade
