May 17th,
2006, Mr. Jim Johnson, CEO of MC Electric Vehicle (MCEV), a Seattle company in
America, together with other 3 managers visited Powerzinc, to discuss the
cooperation about the application and sale of the zinc air fuel cell in North
America, and the establishment of the zinc refuel regeneration plant in Seattle.
MCEV sells and services several models of environmentally friendly vehicles from
a variety of different manufacturers. Realizing the short range is the main
problem of current EV, considering zinc air
fuel
cell¡¯s high specific energy and Powerzinc¡¯s leadership in zinc air fuel cell
industry, MCEV desired to use Powerzinc¡¯s zinc air fuel cell in the EV they
dealt and to improve the EV performance. Both Parties have signed the NDA and
LOI, and will further sign other Frame Agreements including Purchase of the zinc
air fuel cell, the establishment of the zinc fuel regeneration plant and the
development of the EV prototype powered by zinc air fuel cell.
