Mr. Xu You Zheng (General Manager) and Mr. Zhang Xiu Zhou (Plant Manager) of EVT Technology Co., Ltd., a Taiwanese electric scooter manufacturer, made a special trip to our Shanghai Plant. Mr. Xu mentioned that the Taiwanese government has set aside NT$6.3 billion to encourage the development of electric scooters. He estimated the demand for new electric scooters would be 600,000 - 700,000 per year, and planned to manufacture 60,000 48-volt electric scooters next year. These scooters will be powered by our 2 x 24-volt DQFC zinc-air fuel cells. This would bring in a total sales of US$41.4 million for Powerzinc.
